Catrine Games Hall Trust were delighted to be awarded this fund April 2024. Our bid was to engage a Development officer post for a year, to develop new activities, process installation of Solar and Heat pump and to further the requests of the Trustees, based on the community led surveys.
Mission
The Trustees decided that, contracting a development officer would be tantamount to progressing the future plans of the Games Hall. We have been working hard behind the scenes collating the community surveys, and in the last year have had a feasibility study and development report commissioned to further our understanding of what will be required to ensure the long term sustainability of the building
Vision
Our vision for the next few years is to progress the building report for repairs and maintenance, further discuss the feasibility regarding the extension, and employ a development officer to proceed with the task of having solar and a heat pump installed. The development officer shall produce a strategy for new avenues to create more revenue and the vision being that we shall become more sustainable and have more revenue to further volunteer and employment opportunities within the community. Both these visions would ensure more community activities and more access to health and well-being for all
